Obituary of John Joseph Murray

John Joseph Murray went home to Jesus on January 17, 2021. John was born to Frank and Mary Murray on September 17, 1947, in Jersey City, New Jersey. John was survived by his wife, Judy Murray, 4 daughters, 2 step-children, 2 sons-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law, 14 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. John was part of a large loving family, including his 6 brothers, a sister, nieces, nephews, and cousins. His favorite time was when he was with his family and friends. John was a funny man who lit up the room. He always had a big smile and a way to make everyone feel special. John will be remembered for his teasing jokes and his wildly entertaining stories. John always had a passion for cooking and making meals for those he loved. After moving to Las Vegas, NV., in 1993, he was always excited to show family and friends around his lively city. Due to the current pandemic restrictions, a celebration of John’s life will be held later or virtually. Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted.
