Obituary of Grace Ruth Seruby Drisdle

Grace Ruth Seruby Drisdle, 78 of Trenton, NJ parted this life, on a journey to the place prepared for her in Heaven on April 30, 2021. Grace was born on March 29, 1943 in Trenton, NJ. The daughter of Beatrice Seruby and raised by her mother and stepfather Cesar Rich, along with her sister Deborah Seruby Gardner. Grace and Debbie had an unbreakable bond. Grace was educated in the Ewing and Trenton school systems of New Jersey. Graduating from Trenton High. Grace achieved her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse after graduating from Helene Fuld School of Nursing. Grace having a busy schedule still made time to uplift the youth of the community she loved. She became the Director/Member of many youth programs and women's shelters for single mothers. Still having a desire to serve her community she joined the New Jersey Dept. of Corrections as a probationary officer and retiring at the rank of Sergeant. Of all the things Grace had accomplished none of them held more value than her family. In 1964 Grace met and fell in love with Lee Andrew Drisdle II. Pop says he remembers like it was yesterday. He went into the laundry on State St. where he saw Grace for the first time. She has been the love of his life ever since. Through their love for each other their family grew, 3 sons and 3 daughters. Anthony R Young Sr (Kay), Mark Young, Lee Andrew Drisdle III, Wanda Drisdle Dingle (Kelvin), Seretha Drisdle, Renee Drisdle. As the family continued to make impressions on the city of Trenton, it continued to grow 3 more sons and another daughter. Aaron Scott, Ronald Taylor Anthony Hearns and Maria Rivera. All through God's Grace the family continues to grow 26 grandchildren 26 great grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends. So while we cry with our hearts full of sorrow, we will remember to Celebrate and Honor the Life and Legacy of Grace Anne Seruby-Drisdle.
