Obituary of Joseph Thomas Roy

Joseph “Tom” Roy died May 28, 2021. He was born March 15, 1957 in Downey, California to Joseph and Gladys Roy. Tom passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the home of his sister following a brief battle with colon cancer. Tom moved to Henderson, Nevada in 1979, He was a member of Teamsters Local #631 and retired from Wells Cargo as a driver in 2018. Tom enjoyed fishing, racing of all kinds, and spending time with family and friends. He was a unique individual and was always quick with a smile and a helping hand. Tom was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his sister, Carolyn of Henderson, Nevada and brother Steve of Bennettsville, South Carolina, brother Jack of Menifee, California, and brother Lonnie of Henderson, Nevada and Ivins, Utah, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Nathan Adelson Hospice Foundation. Their compassionate staff were invaluable to the family during this time. Services will be private.
