Obituary of Frank A Thompson, Jr.

Passed peacefully to summerland at his home in Las Vegas, NV on Oct 30, 2020 of natural causes. He is proceeded in passing by his parents Frank Thompson Sr. and Frances (Kulick) also his sister Monica Puchan. He is survived by his wife Sandra L. Thompson of 24 years, brother Mark Thompson of Ohio, sisters Bob and Cindy Edkins, Tom and Rene'e Monda of Arizona, John and Tina Kucera of Ohio. His children Christine Thompson, Michelle Bailey, Stephanie Thompson, Tracey McNeil, Frank Thompson III of Ohio and Angelique Thompson of California. 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren all of Ohio. and many nieces and nephews. Frank graduated from Conneaut High School class of 1965. He worked at US Steel on the docks and railroad in Conneaut Ohio before moving to Phoenix Arizona and onto Las Vegas NV where he remained a long term resident. He has also been an auto body technician. Frank had many skills and regularly helped family and friends in time of need. For which they were grateful. He was also a people person, an original thinker with a great sense of fun and wicked humor. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, outdoors activities and having long an meaningful conversations with his wife Sandra. He is sorely missed but never forgotten; we hold him dearly in our hearts. Frank appropriately departed us in the Halloween season which was his favorite with a crash and a bang befitting his sense of humor as we knew him. For death is a cycle of the turning wheel, moving us over to eternity.
