Obituary of Dorothy M Dixon
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure
Dorothy Mae Dixon, 89, passed away on August 2, 2022. She was born October 11, 1932 in Delhi, Louisiana. After graduating high school, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.
She was a faithful member of her Church, Paradise Apostolic for as long as her health permitted. She served as a Mother of the Church and was referred to as “Mother Dorothy and Mama D”. She loved the Lord & enjoyed worshipping, praising and listening to Gospel Music. In former years, she was an avid bowler and also love watching sports on tv.
She worked as a caregiver at Wes Care Convalescent Center and later served as a Foster Grandparent working in the schools to assist teachers in the classrooms by providing supportive, person to person service to children with exceptional or special needs.
The family wishes to express sincere thanks to all her friends that visited, cared for and loved her.
