Obituary of David Paul Bruck
David Paul Bruck (67) passed away peacefully in Las Vegas, NV on Dec 28, 2020 after a long
illness. He is remembered lovingly by his two sons, Oliver Bruck, (wife, Kit) Tom Bruck, (wife,
Molly), his mother, Shirley Block, three sisters, Linda Hunter, (husband, Glenn) Sue Randolph,
(husband Ted), and Terri Kokulis, (husband, John) and his two wonderful grandchildren, Kali
and Max.
He was born in Los Angeles, CA May 30, 1953 and spent his youth in the San Fernando Valley
and Thousand Oaks CA where he graduated from Newbury Park High School in 1971. Dave
went to work for Shopping Bag grocery store as a teenager which eventually became
Albertsons. He had a wonderful work ethic and went on to manage several stores over the
years, always beloved by his employees and bosses alike. He was a proud Marine and served
at the end of the Vietnam war while based in the Philippines.
He is preceded in death by his father, Oliver Bruck, from whom he inherited his passion for
sports. Like his father, he was a rabid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the Los Angeles Rams.
His knowledge of sports trivia was nothing short of astounding.
The family would like to thank Infinity Hospice Care of Las Vegas for their extraordinary care
and compassion. They are angels amongst us.
A celebration of Dave’s life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, consider
donating to Infinity Hospice Care of Las Vegas.
