Obituary of Diane Aurora Heckler

Diane Aurora Heckler passed away September 17, 2021 in hospice, after a battle with vascular dementia. She was 74 years of age and a long-time resident of Clark County. Diane was born November 14, 1946 in Puerto Rico to Samuel and Evelyn Kaiser. She achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico and held many different jobs in her life, including receptionist, office assistant, tax preparer, and paratransit driver. Diane enjoyed telling stories, being around people, and the sound of laughter. An avid crafter, she loved creating and sewing her children’s Halloween costumes when they were young. She also beaded jewelry to give as gifts. Diane liked cooking and her handmade tamales were always appreciated by family, friends, and coworkers. She is survived by her husband, Darrell; her daughters Evelyn and Danielle; her son Erik, his wife Angela, and their children Adeline and Emmett; her ex-husband Daniel; and her brother Bryan.
