Obituary of Christine Xoe Hutchings

Christine Xoe Hutchings, aged 77, passed away peacefully November 28th 2020, due to cerebrovascular disease. She was born August 19, 1943 in Chicago Illinois to parents Joseph Kahn and Nancy Milligan. Christine was very close to her sister Ruth Ann, and brothers David and Joe, and joins them now at rest. She also joins grandson Tristen Michael Riezinger and former husband Paul Leroy Hutchings as well as Robert Navarro. Christine loved the Chicago lakefront and that’s where most of her ashes will be cast. She loved family outings to Starved Rock State Park and treks to Wisconsin and Michigan for apple picking (and visiting wineries ;)) Ades Glass Tap was a staple family restaurant on those outings. She was an avid lover of dogs (all rescues) and fostered many. She joins her beloved VW, Rusty, Sam, Jake and others now. She is survived by daughters Natalie Ruth Navarro and Amy Denise Hutchings and son Gregory Paul Ortiz, (lovingly fostered by her sister and brother in law, Ruthie & Raul Ortiz) grandchildren Amber Rae Cimiotti, Connor Joseph., Kaleigh Christine and Aaden Murphy Ortiz, as well as greatgrandchildren Scarlett Rae Cimiotti (and soon) Massimo Ray Cimiotti.
